SOYES Publisher — Privacy Policy

SOYES Publisher is a browser extension that helps a business publish posts it has already approved in its SOYES (Mobby) account, and draft replies to its own customer conversations. It works on pages where you are already signed in. It never posts or sends anything automatically — you review and click the platform's own Post / Send button.

In short: the extension does not sell your data, does not track your browsing, and stores nothing on our servers about the pages you visit. The only thing it keeps is your SOYES agent key, on your own device.

What the extension stores

Your SOYES agent key (the sk_agent_… token you paste into the popup) and the SOYES API base URL. These are stored locally on your device in chrome.storage.local and are sent only to the SOYES API (soyes.ai) to authenticate your account. They are never sent to any social platform or third party.

What data is processed, and where it goes

Approved posts you created in SOYES (Mobby) are fetched from the SOYES API so the extension can pre-fill them into the composer on the page you have open. They are not collected from the page.
Conversation text you choose to act on (for the assisted-reply feature): when you ask the extension to draft a reply, the relevant message text is sent to the SOYES API once to generate that reply, and the drafted reply is returned to you. It is used only to produce the draft — it is not stored for any other purpose and is not used to build a profile of you or your customers.
Your own website-chat conversations (the Live Inbox feature): when a visitor on your website asks to talk to a human, those messages are your own customer data held in your SOYES account. The extension fetches them from the SOYES API to show you the conversation and, only when you click "AI draft", to generate a suggested reply. They are not collected from any third-party page.
Products you capture (the right-click "Capture to SOYES catalog"): only the item you act on — the selected product name, the right-clicked image's URL, and the page URL — is sent to your own SOYES catalog. Nothing else on the page is read or sent.
The page's composer is read/written only to find the post box and insert your approved text. The extension does not read, collect, or transmit your other page content, messages, contacts, or browsing history.

What the extension does NOT do

It does not post, send, or submit anything automatically.
It does not sell or share your data with third parties.
It does not track which sites you visit or your activity across sites.
It does not use your data for advertising.
It does not collect data from pages other than to insert your approved post into the composer you opened.

Permissions and why they are needed

storage — to save your agent key on your device.
clipboardWrite — to copy your approved post to the clipboard as a fallback when auto-insert is not available, so you can paste it.
activeTab — to let the popup's "Test this page" button check whether the post box can be found on the tab you are viewing.
notifications — to show a desktop alert when a visitor on your own website is waiting to talk to a human (Live Inbox), so you don't miss it.
alarms — to check for waiting website-chat visitors about once a minute in the background (this is the only thing that drives the notification above).
contextMenus — to add the right-click "Capture to SOYES catalog" item. It sends only what you act on (the selected product name, the right-clicked image's URL, and the page URL) to your own SOYES catalog.
Host access to facebook.com, instagram.com, linkedin.com, tiktok.com, pinterest.com, business.google.com, web.whatsapp.com and soyes.ai — to insert posts/replies into those sites' composers, to read the conversation you ask it to draft a reply for (WhatsApp), and to talk to the SOYES API.

Data retention

The agent key remains on your device until you remove it (clear it in the popup, or remove the extension). The SOYES API does not retain the page or conversation text beyond what is needed to generate your requested draft.

Your choices

You can disconnect at any time by clearing the key in the popup or removing the extension. For questions about your SOYES account data, or to request deletion, contact us below.
